The Konza Technopolis Development Authority is inviting applications for internship opportunities across multiple disciplines. The positions are open to recent graduates and students seeking practical experience in Kenya’s premier technology city.

About Konza Technopolis
In 2008, the Government of Kenya approved the creation of Konza Technology City as a flagship Kenya Vision 2030 project. Vision 2030 aims to create a globally competitive and prosperous nation. Konza Technopolis is designed to be Kenya’s hub for technology, innovation, and smart city development.
The Konza Technopolis Development Authority is responsible for planning, developing, and managing this technology city.
Available Internship Positions
Urban Planning & Permitting/Development Control & Enforcement Intern
The intern will assist in urban planning activities, permit processing, and development control. Candidates should have a background in urban planning, real estate, or a related field.
Surveying & GIS Intern
The intern will support surveying activities and geographic information systems work. A background in surveying, geospatial engineering, or GIS is required.
Environment, Health & Safety Intern
The intern will assist in environmental compliance, health and safety inspections, and risk assessments. Candidates should have qualifications in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Quality Assurance Intern
The intern will support monitoring and evaluation of projects and quality assurance processes. A background in project management, statistics, or M&E is preferred.
Research, Policy & Strategy Intern
The intern will assist in research activities, policy analysis, and strategy development. Candidates should have a background in economics, public policy, or strategic management.
Supply Chain Management Intern

Project Management Intern

Economic Development & Resource Mobilization Intern

ICT Intern

Engineering Intern (Energy, Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Water & Sanitation, Solid Waste)
The intern will support engineering activities across multiple disciplines. Candidates should have a background in energy engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, water and sanitation engineering, or solid waste management.
Security Operations & Emergency Services Intern
The intern will assist in security planning, emergency response coordination, and safety operations. A background in security management, criminology, or emergency services is required.
Human Resource Intern
The intern will support recruitment, employee records, and HR administration. Candidates should have a background in human resource management or business administration.
Records Management Intern
The intern will assist in document filing, archiving, and records retrieval. A background in records management, library science, or information management is preferred.
Marketing & Corporate Communication Intern
The intern will support marketing campaigns, social media management, and corporate communications. Candidates should have qualifications in marketing, public relations, or communications.
Business Management Intern
The intern will assist in business planning, operations support, and administrative tasks. A background in business administration or management is required.
Internal Audit & Risk Assurance Intern

Investor Facilitation & One Stop Shop / Customer Service Intern
The intern will assist investors with inquiries, document processing, and customer service. A background in business administration, customer service, or international relations is preferred.
