Founded in 2011 and based in Nairobi, Ironbridge has raised two funds totalling USD 120 million and has made nine investments, five of which have been successfully exited. What you will do:

You will be responsible for delivering lessons according to the national curriculum, preparing lesson plans, setting and marking assignments and examinations, and maintaining records of student performance. The role involves creating a stimulating learning environment that accommodates students with different learning abilities and backgrounds. You will participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and professional development workshops. Outside the classroom, you will be involved in co-curricular activities such as sports, drama, or clubs, and may be assigned duties such as class teacher or subject head. The school places a strong emphasis on holistic student development, so you will be expected to mentor students and identify those who may need additional academic or pastoral support. Compliance with the Teachers Service Commission requirements and the school's internal policies is mandatory.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices

If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, send your updated CV and a brief cover letter explaining why you are a good fit for the role. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within two weeks of the application deadline.
