About Grandview Partners

Grandview Partners is a healthtech company that develops and deploys electronic medical records systems, hospital management software, and telemedicine platforms for healthcare facilities in Kenya and East Africa. Founded in 2014, Grandview's flagship product is used by over 200 hospitals and clinics across six countries. The company employs sixty software engineers, clinical informatics specialists, and implementation staff. Grandview Partners is certified as a medical device software provider by the Kenya Bureau of Standards and is a member of the Kenya Health Federation.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment across the company's facilities, including power distribution panels, lighting systems, motors, and control circuits. Daily tasks involve conducting preventive maintenance checks, responding to breakdown reports, and troubleshooting electrical faults. You will read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams to diagnose problems. The role requires you to ensure that all electrical work complies with the Kenya Electrical Wiring Code and that safety procedures, including lockout-tagout, are followed at all times. You will also install new electrical equipment, modify existing circuits, and support the facilities team during office fit-outs and renovations. Experience with both low-voltage and medium-voltage systems is an advantage. The position involves being on call for emergency repairs outside normal working hours on a rotational basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; a Master's degree is an added advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate organisational goals into actionable plans
  • Professional certification in the relevant field (e.g. CPA, PMP, CIPS, or equivalent)
  • Experience managing budgets and reporting to senior leadership
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Applications should include an updated CV, copies of relevant certificates, and contact details of three professional referees. Grandview Partners offers a competitive remuneration package, medical cover, and opportunities for professional development. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
