Stonegate Partners is a surveying, mapping, and geospatial consultancy that provides land surveying, GIS mapping, aerial surveying, and geospatial data management services. Founded in 2005, the firm works with government agencies, real estate developers, mining companies, and infrastructure project owners. Stonegate employs twenty-five licensed land surveyors and GIS specialists and operates GNSS receivers, total stations, and drone survey equipment. The company is registered with the Land Surveyors Board of Kenya and has mapped over 500,000 hectares of land across the country.
What you will do:
You will be responsible for designing and implementing training programmes, conducting training needs assessments, and evaluating the effectiveness of learning interventions. The role involves working with department heads to identify skill gaps, developing training curricula, and delivering sessions on topics such as leadership, communication, compliance, and technical skills. You will manage the training budget, coordinate with external trainers and training providers, and maintain training records for audit and compliance purposes. The position also involves supporting the performance management process, coaching managers on how to conduct effective appraisals, and helping to develop individual development plans for high-potential employees. Experience in e-learning platform management and blended learning design is an advantage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
