Pinnacle Holdings is a real estate investment and property management company that owns and operates commercial and residential developments in Nairobi, Mombasa, and Naivasha. The company's portfolio includes three shopping malls, a mixed-use tower in Westlands, and over six hundred rental apartments. Pinnacle was incorporated in 2005 and has since completed twenty-four development projects valued at a combined KES 12 billion. The company also provides facilities management services to third-party property owners and manages a housing cooperative with 1,200 members. What you will do:

You will take charge of the company's financial planning and analysis function, preparing budgets, forecasts, and management reports that inform strategic decisions. This involves building financial models in Excel, analysing revenue and cost trends, and presenting findings to senior leadership on a monthly basis. You will also monitor departmental spending against approved budgets and flag variances that require attention. The role includes coordinating with external auditors during the annual audit, preparing audit schedules, and resolving any queries they raise. On the tax side, you will compute and file monthly PAYE, VAT, and NSSF returns and ensure the company remains compliant with KRA requirements. You will also manage relationships with the company's bankers, handling loan drawdowns, interest payments, and foreign currency transactions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working under pressure during peak periods such as month-end and year-end closings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices

Applications should include an updated CV, copies of relevant certificates, and contact details of three professional referees. Pinnacle Holdings offers a competitive remuneration package, medical cover, and opportunities for professional development. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
