Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Site Manager to support an upcoming demolition and construction project based in Hsinchu, with the scope of work including implementation and monitoring of EHS programs at the project site, and oversight on the project site’s contractors’ EHS performances. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about workplace safety, environmental, health and safety compliance, and sustainability practices.

This is a contract basis role and last for 54 months. You will be working from Tuesday to Saturday for the first 10 months (starting from May 2026 – March 2027). After that, the workdays will be adjusted to Monday to Friday for the following 44 months (starting from April 2027).

Lead and ensuring the Project’s EHS Compliance
As the EHS Site Manager, you’ll lead and ensure the Project’s EHS performances comply with both local Taiwanese EHS regulations and client’s internal EHS requirements. You’ll work together with ERM team to support client in managing the demolition and construction project in Hsinchu to drive transformative solutions in EHS compliance. What You Impact Is

You will help deliver and oversee project’s and the contractors’ EHS performances through collaboration with ERM and client’s team. You will strengthen our EHS culture and create opportunities that support the success execution of the project.

ROLE PROFILE:

  • Manage the project’s demolition and construction EHS performances

  • Working with client & ERM project management team to provide EHS advisory services

  • Review and oversee the project’s contractors EHS programs

  • Develop and support in implementation of EHS programs

  • Ensure all project’s EHS KPI are met

  • Follow safe working practices, including preparation and review of HASPs, Job Hazard Analysis, Risk assessments, EHS management systems and procedures

  • Prepare relevant EHS progress reports and leading daily toolbox talks

  • Ability & interest to develop technical or SME knowledge in demolition and construction activities to be able to interact with client

  • Follow prevailing authorization processes, policies & practices for all aspects role

  • Work effectively within the team, including project’s, client, contractors, and ERM

  • Communicate clearly with peers, colleagues, client, project contractors, as applicable, to ensure understanding & alignment around project work

  • Build successful & effective working relationships with project team, contractors, and colleagues, and ensure delivery of project tasks & to strengthen knowledge/ resource base

  • Build EHS awareness & understanding client’s/ project’s needs

  • Escalate project related problems or queries as appropriate to ensure timely & swift resolutions

Business Results & Performance Culture Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, gather data (collection or monitoring), & analyses information to support & deliver EHS training/ workshops related work to the project team

  • Conduct analysis of & or provide a related summaries of data & or research, in line with work requirements

  • Carry out appropriate coordination tasks to support the project, including accurate completion of timesheets & reports; compilation, filing & archiving of project documentation; & updating of relevant internal systems

Practice Specific

  • Comprehensive knowledge of EHS regulations, EHS audit, development of EHS SOPs

  • Ability to conduct Environmental aspect impact / H&S Hazard & risk assessment

  • Working experience in dealing with Pollution Control Board, submission of statutory records etc.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of high-risk Demolition and Construction activities like Working at Height, Hot Work, Excavation, Heavy Equipment, Electrical & Fire Safety, Emergency Preparedness etc;

  • Experience in delivering EHS training & Contractor Management.

  • Experience in EHS incident investigation & reporting.

  • Working experience in Construction sectors may be an added advantage.

  • Experience in multi-dimensional team & EHS Project management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B. E./ B. Tech./ M. Sc./ M. Tech. in EHS or H&S background

  • 10+ years of experience in EHS Audit and Demolition / Construction Site for building or infrastructure

  • Possess valid Class A Occupational Safety and Health Affairs Manager (甲種職業安全衛生管理業務主管證)

  • Possesses professional fluency in English

  • Working experience with Demolition / Construction / Manufacturing sectors – In-depth understanding of the industry & the companies operating in these sectors, including existing relationships that can be leveraged into new business.

  • Business acumen to understand business risk & challenges & recognize corporate opportunities.

  • Knowledge of widely accepted sustainability frameworks & standards, as well as proven record of working with them

  • Open to travel locally, note that project site is located in Hsinchu. Willing to commit to a contract position
