The Opportunity
The Coordinator- Programme Operations will act as the focal point for overseeing the implementation of MCH projects under the CXB H&N program. S/he will also work closely with cross-thematic colleagues to ensure an integrated programmatic response, under the guidance of the Senior Program Manager.

S/he will ensure all relevant support for program implementation through direct and local partnership management and ensure timely input into SCI’s various systems (mainly PRIME), to monitor throughout the project cycle. Moreover, budget Implementation and ensuring maximum approved utilisation of the budget within the agreed timeline by sharing budget versus actual expenditure with all relevant parties, and supporting MCH projects to ensure effective budget utilisation. S/he will also support the Senior Programme Manager, ensuring that program expenditures are in line with Save the Children policies, procedures, and donor compliance, and that KPIs remain on track.

The role will be responsible for tracking all government compliances, such as CLA, FD 7, etc., and ensuring that relevant MCH projects are managed properly. The role will be instrumental in driving the growth and expansion of the CXB H&N Program portfolio and in supporting the development of program response strategies aligned with the Save the Children Rohingya Response Strategy, Health and Nutrition Sector Strategy, and relevant national frameworks, under the supervision of the Senior Programme Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience, including 2 years in a project/program management position, preferably in the implementation of an emergency Health programme.

  • Good knowledge of the national health and nutrition system and programs; experience in working with INGOs, district-level government stakeholders, and other relevant stakeholders in both development and emergency settings

  • Experience in humanitarian health & Nutrition management, including strong knowledge of health cluster and humanitarian architecture and systems.

  • Experience in managing multiple grants, budgets, and partners.

  • Good understanding of the essential principles and reality of emergency supply chain operations, and commitment to ensuring strong integration and communication between supply chain and program design and planning before and during deployment

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work within a tight timeframe,

  • Excellent leadership skills and experience in managing diverse teams.

  • Skills in prioritising and organising the work.

  • Knowledge of the Core Humanitarian Standards

  • Good at written and spoken English.

  • Proficiency in computer use, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
