What you will do:
You will operate company vehicles to transport goods or passengers safely and on schedule. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections, planning routes, loading and unloading cargo, and maintaining delivery logs. The role requires a valid driving licence with the appropriate class endorsements, a clean driving record, and knowledge of traffic regulations. You will also be responsible for the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues to the transport supervisor. The position may involve long-distance driving, night driving, and working irregular hours. For heavy commercial vehicle positions, a PSV licence and defensive driving certification are required. Punctuality, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety are non-negotiable requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
