The Opportunity
The Retention Sales Manager will direct and develop our renewal and retention programs across Adobe. This role plays a key part in safeguarding and growing recurring revenue by improving renewal quality, minimizing risks, and expanding accounts during the cycle with a skilled team of Renewal Sales Specialists (RSS) and Solution Account Managers (SAM).
Manage & Develop High-Performing Teams

Directly oversee and guide Renewal Sales Specialists and Solution Account Managers, setting clear expectations, priorities, and performance criteria.

Develop talent through regular mentoring, deal reviews, pipeline inspections, and skills development in renewal negotiation and value-based selling.

Foster strong collaboration across the Adobe ecosystem with clear ownership based on renewal complexity and risk.
Drive Renewal Excellence & Expansion

Ensure consistent execution of renewal planning, orchestration, and processing, including quote accuracy, procurement engagement, and contract closure.

Support teams in identifying in-cycle upsell and expansion opportunities, focusing on simple, value-led growth motions aligned to customer usage and outcomes.

Collaborate with Account Executives Management on identifying cross-sell opportunities and transferring them, ensuring a well-maintained pipeline and clear role definitions.
Forecasting, Governance & Collaborator Management

Own a rolling multi-quarter renewal forecast, including attrition risk, upside, and execution timelines.

Lead regular renewal health reviews with sales leadership, advancing at-risk renewals and competitive situations when required.

Act as a trusted leader for the region, inspiring change, process adoption, and continuous improvement in retention performance.
What You Bring
Experience

Proven experience leading sales teams in a B2B SaaS or subscription environment.

Strong background in complex enterprise deals, commercial negotiations, and forecast management.

Proven ability to work effectively within matrixed organizations, collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Services.
