Senior Assistant, Institute for Educational Development
This is a grant-funded contractual position.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
-
develop and maintain a calendar for meetings
-
communicate with the project team and other stakeholders regarding events and activities
-
take notes and prepare meeting minutes
-
prepare work schedules and travel plans for the project team
-
arrange resources (stationery) for meetings and other events
-
assist the Programme Coordinator in organising events, including logistics and communication
-
assist the Project Coordinator, Programme Lead, and Team Leads in obtaining and preparing relevant documents for review
-
attend events (e.g. training events, workshops) as and when required
-
undertake other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor, Programme Lead, Team Leads, and team members.
Requirements:
You should have:
-
a bachelor’s degree from a reputable national or international university; a higher qualification will be an added advantage
-
at least one year of experience, preferably in performing tasks related to day-to-day project operations
-
good interpersonal and communication skills in written and spoken English and Urdu
-
ability to prepare work schedules and itineraries
-
ability to organise events, including logistics and communication
-
ability to work in a team
-
proficiency in MS Office and Excel
-
ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
