Responsibilities:

The applicant demonstrates full command and ability to independently manage the safe & Energy efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of centrifugal and absorption chillers, cooling towers, calorifiers, boilers, and associated auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of chillers, cooling towers, boilers, and calorifiers along with ancillary equipment’s.

  • Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of boilers and associated equipment in compliance with government boiler regulations.

  • Provide training to staff regarding adherence of statutory and local laws governing high-pressure vessels.

  • Plan and execute seasonal maintenance of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and related equipment in line with PPM schedules in CMMS; coordinate and prepare for annual inspections by boiler inspectors, including all prerequisite arrangements.

  • Collaborate with control room engineers and HVAC teams to ensure smooth plant operations and effective service delivery.

  • Implement timely and effective preventive planned maintenance (PPM) programs for all plant room equipment.

  • Reduce equipment breakdowns and ensure reliable, uninterrupted operation.

  • Monitor and ensure proper water treatment for all plant room equipment.

  • Monitor & maintain minimum stock level for all spares & chemicals of plant room.

  • Ensure safety protocols to be followed by staff & vendors in all activities carried out in plant room.

  • Planning of plant room inefficient equipment replacement.

  • Any other task assigned by Manager.

Requirements:

  • B.E Mechanical

  • Minimum 6 – 8 years of related work experience in Mechanical & Utilities systems

  • Strong knowledge of utility equipment, including boilers, chillers, and cooling towers, calorifiers.

  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to operations & maintenance.

  • Effective planning and organizational abilities.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Self-driven, adaptable, and flexible in approach.
