Senior Medical Officer, IGHD
This a grant funded contractual position.
Job Roles / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:

Identification of the patient for the ongoing study and enrolled patient for the Research study;

to follow up the research study patient and update schedule of visit;
-
collect and maintain records of identified cases;
-
design and plan social mobilization strategies for community people to co-operate/collaborate with Research projects;
-
to provide appropriate guidance to children screen positive with disability or malnourished;
-
ensure participation of community in Research project to increase case reporting;
-
training of junior staff working in the health centre;
-
monitoring the data collection processes in the field;
-
evaluating and validating the data collected;
-
development of data collection forms;
-
submit weekly and monthly progress report;
-
coordinate with team for regular meetings and presentation.
Requirements:
You must have:
-
MBBS from a recognized institution with valid registration(PMDC/PMC);
-
2-5 years experience in maternal-child health, or public health programs(preferred);
-
ability to work in a team;
-
ability to establish harmonious working relations at the place of work;
-
flexibility in taking over additional/new responsibilities when required by project;
-
willingness to work at peri-urban research settings;
-
mature, reliable, and responsible;
-
able to understand and follow instruction;
-
ability to speak and understand job-related English and Urdu.
