Role Summary
The Workplace Care Sales Advisor is responsible for driving new business growth for Evernorth Workplace Care solutions by identifying, developing, and closing complex sales opportunities with employers, brokers, consultants, and strategic partners. This role serves as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, translating workplace health, well‑being, and care delivery needs into compelling, value‑based solutions that improve workforce outcomes and reduce total cost of care.

The Sales Advisor partners closely with internal product, clinical, operations, and growth stakeholders to execute a cohesive sales strategy from lead qualification through contract execution.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & New Business Development

  • Own and execute a defined sales strategy to achieve new business revenue and growth targets for Workplace Care solutions.

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue complex employer, broker, and consultant‑led sales opportunities.

  • Develop account and territory plans that align to Workplace Care market priorities and growth objectives.

  • Drive end‑to‑end sales execution, from prospecting through finalist presentations and deal close.

Client & Market Engagement

  • Act as a subject‑matter expert on Workplace Care offerings, including occupational health, workforce well‑being, and integrated care solutions.

  • Consult with prospective clients to understand workforce needs, employee health challenges, and benefit strategies.

  • Deliver compelling value‑based proposals that articulate clinical, operational, and financial impact.

  • Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with decision makers and influencers.

Cross‑Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with internal partners (Product, Clinical, Pricing, Operations, Marketing, and Growth) to develop customized solutions and proposals.

  • Lead and coordinate RFP responses, pricing strategy, and finalist presentations.

  • Ensure seamless handoff to implementation and account teams post‑sale.

Performance Management & Sales Operations

  • Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, revenue targets, and pipeline expectations.

  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM updates, forecasts, and sales activity reporting.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive intelligence, and buyer dynamics to inform strategy.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in consultative, complex B2B sales (healthcare, benefits, or services preferred).

  • Demonstrated success driving net‑new business and closing complex sales opportunities.

  • Strong executive‑level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Experience collaborating across matrixed organizations and influencing without authority.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools and disciplined sales process execution.

Preferred

  • Experience selling healthcare services, population health, occupational health, or employer‑focused solutions.

  • Established relationships with employers, brokers, consultants, or healthcare decision makers.

  • Experience responding to RFPs and leading finalist presentations.
