The National Crime Research Centre (NCRC) is a State Corporation established under the National Crime Research Centre Act No. 4 of 1997. The Centre is mandated to conduct research into the causes of crime, crime prevention, and disseminate research findings and recommendations to Government agencies involved in the administration of criminal justice for policy planning and formulation.

Pursuant to Section 11 of the National Crime Research Centre Act, 1997, the Governing Council invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:

The Director/CEO will serve as the Accounting Officer of the Centre, oversee the day-to-day implementation of its mandate, and provide strategic direction and leadership while being responsible to the Governing Council.
