Principal, Workplace Portfolio & Analytics at Workday
The Principal, Workplace Portfolio & Analytics will report directly to the Sr. Director, Workplace Strategy & Portfolio Performance, and will play a critical role in advising on real estate decisions around the world. Leveraging AI, financial modeling, market data, and financial acumen, you will derive insights and make recommendations that optimize the real estate portfolio, driving better financial outcomes for Workday. This role requires a focus on solving unique challenges by considering the overarching Workplace strategy, Workday’s culture, and stakeholder needs.
Responsibilities:

Stakeholder management: directly partner with FP&A, Lease Administration, Lease Transactions, and key business partners to determine best financial outcomes for Workday through various Real Estate Transactions.

Advise & Partner: Provide insights, thought partnership, and scenario planning to the Lease Transactions Team, supporting landlord and stakeholder negotiations, and complex occupier engagements. Act as an advisor to leadership, distilling complex datasets into high-impact narratives that steer regional investment strategies and operational pivots.

Data Stewardship: Drive accurate outcomes by ensuring that dashboards and AI models are fueled by high-integrity data.

Predictive Modeling: Develop, maintain, and utilize supply/demand models to create data-driven forecasts that inform long-term strategic planning for the workplace.

Standardization: Implement a rigorous process to guide and improve Workday’s real estate investment strategy.
About You
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related quantitative field.

At least 10 years of experience in data analysis, corporate real estate, or business intelligence.

Experience with data-driven decision making, translating complex data into concise business narratives.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
