Senior Tax Analyst – Indirect Taxes at Palo Alto Networks
The Senior Tax Analyst for Indirect Taxes will be a part of a growing tax team, supporting international teams in the Netherlands, UK, and US. This role focuses on preparing global indirect tax compliance, process automation, and supporting US and EMEA HQ tax initiatives while working with a local team in India.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare indirect tax reporting with a focus on the EMEA and APAC region.

Ensure that VAT and GST returns are prepared accurately and filed in a timely manner.

Work closely with the accounting and AP teams of EMEA and APAC.

Prepare timely updates on new tax laws and tax rates.

Prepare financial data, perform financial analysis, and report discrepancies.

Provide advice to business partners on indirect tax impacts.

Support international indirect tax audits, M&A initiatives, and ad hoc tax projects.

Support continuous improvement in the efficiency of tax processes through automation, including the use of Alteryx.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Finished CA Degree in Economics, Tax or Accounting.

4-8 years of tax experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or equivalent multinational corporate tax department.

Qualified experience with indirect tax compliance work for multinational companies.

Tax and accounting technical proficiency with principles of international indirect taxation.

Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrates high integrity and trustworthiness.

Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize in fast-moving situations.

Flexible time schedule that allows for managing due dates and regular overlap with international locations.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with technology/software environments such as SAP, Alteryx, or similar ETL tools.
