Associate, Center of Excellence in Woman & Child Health
This a grant funded contractual position.
Job Role / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:

Assist in the preparation, submission, and management of grant proposals;

ensure compliance with funding agency requirements and institutional policies;
-
develop and monitor grant budgets in collaboration with teams;
-
track expenses and ensure they align with the grant’s budgetary constraints;
-
review General Ledger, review and submit required reports to funding agencies, including progress and financial reports;
-
facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure smooth grant management;
-
assist in organizing and conducting meetings related to grant administration;
-
maintain accurate and detailed records of grant-related activities and documents;
-
ensure that all grant documentation is stored securely and is easily accessible for audits or reviews;
-
assist in troubleshooting issues related to grant administration and provide solutions;
-
identify opportunities to streamline grant administration processes;
suggest and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance; -
assist in coordinating project timelines, deliverables, and milestones in alignment with grant requirements;
-
ensure that all grant-funded activities progress according to plan;
-
ensure that all necessary documentation is available and compliant with audit standards;
-
good working experience with all types of award mechanisms, including grants, contracts, subcontracts, cooperative agreements, sub-awards, and Purchase Orders;

manage the day-to-day operations of the grants administration process;
-
handle Purchase requisitions related to grant-funded projects;
-
prepare, check, and enter the payments / reimbursements in PS system related to grant-funded projects;
-
execute additional tasks assigned by the supervisor as needed;

may require some extra working hours;
-
conduct audit of field offices within and outside Karachi.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred;
-
relevant experience of 2 to 4 years preferably with a Research and Grants Management background in an academic institution;
-
strong interpersonal and communication skills;
-
proficiency in computers especially MS Office;
-
willing to travel and work in the communities / rural field sites;
-
excellent report writing skills;
-
excellent Organization Skills and Analytical Skills;
-
good speaking and written English is a must.
