The Aga Khan University was found in 1983 as Pakistan’s first private university; Aga Khan University is a not-for-profit institution and an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network. Starting in 2000, the University expanded to Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom and Afghanistan. AKU began life as a health-sciences university.
The Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) is the first private-sector university-led trans-provincial Board (awarding body) in Pakistan established through the Ordinance of the Government of Pakistan. The Board offers high-quality examinations for Secondary School (grades 9th and 10th – SSC) and Higher Secondary School (grades 11th and 12th – HSSC/ FSC) qualifications for public and private schools across Pakistan. The Board also offers a Middle School Programme (MSP) for grades 6th–8th students and its registered schools engage a globally accepted approach, Project-Based Learning (PBL) to implement the MSP. PBL is considered as a foundation of the AKU-EB MSP, helping schools foster a sense of purpose and leadership in young learners.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position Associate (Operations) in the Examination Board.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- specific areas of the Exam Processing System information database including the enrolment & registration modules, provide user support for the software(s) in use by the Operations team
- supervision of data entry & scanning of forms as well as ensuring that the data submitted is complete & accurate and within the assigned deadlines
- physical tracking of files & maintaining of records pertaining to the assessment operations team
- supervision of highly sensitive assignments related to printing of examinations papers
- ensuring the confidentiality of the examination system
- supervision of scanning of examination papers
- initiating the annual candidate enrolment and registration cycle including coordination regarding the fees structure, subjects on offer, registration.
- supporting in preparing the data logs for the printing of examination papers
- the storage of confidential material including certificates, results slips, personal accomplishment records and admit cards. To ensure that proper tracking and audit trail of these materials is maintained at all times
- the issuance of certificates and result slips based on the agreed timeframes
scholarship related activities. - supervise the Issuance of Migration Certificates and Verification of documents issued by AKU-EB
- providing assistance in analysis, tabulation and visualization of data.
Requirements:
You should have:
- minimum bachelor’s preferably master’s degree
- at least 2 years’ experience in the field of administration and data management
- strong IT skills and excellent work knowledge of MS-Office application; especially MS-Excel
- strong communication skills in English and Urdu (both oral and written)
- strong focus on Customer Service Orientation Skills
- flexibility, negotiation and time management skills
- ability to work well in teams and highly motivated
- ability to understand and contribute to AKU-EB’s vision
- ability to represent the Exam Board to schools, students, parents
- willingness to travel for work related assignments.
