The company runs a fleet of twenty fishing vessels, a cold-storage processing plant, and a fish feed mill. Founded in 2006, Lakeside Partners employs 400 staff and produces approximately 8,000 metric tonnes of processed fish annually, supplying both the local market and export destinations in the EU and the Middle East. The company holds EU export certification, HACCP accreditation, and works with 2,000 out-grower fish farmers through its cage farming programme on the lake.
What you will do:
You will be responsible for managing customer relationships, processing loan applications, conducting credit assessments, and ensuring that lending decisions comply with the bank's credit policy. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing loan applications, verifying customer documents, preparing credit appraisal memoranda, and presenting recommendations to the credit committee. You will also monitor the performance of existing loan accounts, follow up on overdue payments, and initiate recovery actions where necessary. The role involves cross-selling bank products such as savings accounts, insurance, and mobile banking services to existing and prospective customers. You will maintain detailed records of all customer interactions in the CRM system and prepare weekly reports on portfolio performance. Strong analytical skills are required to assess financial statements, cash flow projections, and collateral valuations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
