About Woodbridge Group

Woodbridge Group is a furniture manufacturing company that produces office furniture, school furniture, and hospitality furniture for the Kenyan market and for export to East African countries. The factory in Ruiru employs 280 staff and operates CNC machining, wood finishing, and upholstery production lines. Founded in 2002, Woodbridge supplies furniture to government offices through the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority framework and also works with private sector clients including banks, hotels, and co-working spaces. The company is ISO 9001 certified and uses sustainably sourced timber from certified plantations.

What you will do:

You will manage wholesale accounts, build relationships with retailers and institutional buyers, and achieve sales targets for the company's product range. Daily tasks include processing orders, coordinating deliveries, resolving customer complaints, and following up on payments. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, expanding the customer base in the assigned territory, and conducting market intelligence on competitor activities and pricing. You will also prepare sales reports, forecast demand, and coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure product availability. Strong negotiation skills, a valid driving licence, and the willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region are required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
