Online Tutor / Teacher
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time | Remote
Salary: Ksh 40,000
About the Role: We are looking for passionate educators to teach students of all ages in subjects including math, English, science, and test preparation. Sessions are conducted one-on-one or in small groups via video conferencing.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging online lessons tailored to student needs
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Assign and review homework and practice exercises
- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports
- Communicate with parents/guardians about student performance
- Create a positive and encouraging virtual learning environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (education field preferred but not required)
- Subject-matter expertise in the area you teach
- Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience
- Comfortable teaching via Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms
- Patience, enthusiasm, and strong interpersonal skills
- Bonus: teaching certification or TEFL/TOEFL experience
