Job Summary

To provide specialist advice and support to Business Banking Clients and Stakeholders.

Job Description

  • To validate requests in line with risks, governance and controls

  • Financial mandates will be assigned, and incumbents need to act responsibly and within mandates

  • Any deviations in line with the financial mandate should be communicated and addressed timeously with management

  • Teller administrator – draw daily AJL journal listings, investigate discrepancies, engage team and stakeholders to resolve timeously

  • Daily FSSA reconciliations, to be familiar with the process and it should be attended to and communicated timeously with relevant stakeholders

  • To perform independent Quality Assurance check on transactions processed, based on sample size communicated by management

  • Robotics processing on transactions must be checked daily, to ensure accuracy and completeness of all transactions

  • All financial transactions processed are accurate and complete on all applicable systems (BTP – banking transaction platform, Customer 1, Share Point and Business Integrator Online)

  • System glitches and malfunctions, log incidents immediately and report to management

  • Team reports to be made available timeously to management, to identify trends to make important business decisions

  • Assist management with daily capacity planning and workload balancing to ensure efficiency

  • Identify process efficiencies and execute accordingly and communicate with management

  • To ensure that any ad-hoc tasks are performed according to standards applicable

  • To be able to Perform account maintenance functions (For Transactional account and Product account)

Experience and Education Required

Minimum NQF6 Qualification

Financial Accounting Experience

Account Maintenance Experience in a Business Banking environment

Education

Higher Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
