The Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Research Associate in the Department of Orthopaedics.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • data collection from clinical areas and records, entry, analysis, cleaning, validation, and management

  • study progress reports writing and timely submission, safety reporting

  • coordinate investigators, research assistant, department/institution

  • manuscript writing, highlight potential areas of improvement in patient care

  • ERC submission, annual report preparation and submission, amendment/extension request submission

  • participation in regular monitoring

  • grant protocol draft writing, preparing a budget

  • preparing presentations and literature review

  • patient recruitment, data collection, patient questionnaire administration, and patient outcome assessment

  • participation in international conference abstracts, audits, etc

Requirements:

You should have:

  • graduate or post-graduate degree in a health-related field (preferably medical sciences)

  • at least two years research experience in clinical or pharmaceutical sciences

  • competent in MS Office, SPSS, or any image analysis software will be considered advantageous.

    Comprehensive reference checks will be conducted
