The Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Research Associate in the Department of Orthopaedics.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:

data collection from clinical areas and records, entry, analysis, cleaning, validation, and management
-
study progress reports writing and timely submission, safety reporting
-
coordinate investigators, research assistant, department/institution
-
manuscript writing, highlight potential areas of improvement in patient care
-
ERC submission, annual report preparation and submission, amendment/extension request submission
-
participation in regular monitoring
-
grant protocol draft writing, preparing a budget
-
preparing presentations and literature review
-
patient recruitment, data collection, patient questionnaire administration, and patient outcome assessment
-
participation in international conference abstracts, audits, etc
Requirements:
You should have:
-
graduate or post-graduate degree in a health-related field (preferably medical sciences)
-
at least two years research experience in clinical or pharmaceutical sciences
-
competent in MS Office, SPSS, or any image analysis software will be considered advantageous.
